Professional Training Language in context
Continuing your studies in an area of professional training is not only a way to obtain a valuable qualification but is also an effective way to continue to improve your English. You can add a Professional Training course to the end of any 12-week Eurocentres language course.

Business Administration / Management
 Training covers a range of essential business skills and activities and develops your understanding of the role that these activities play in the successful running of a company. Precise course content varies depending on the institution and qualification concerned. The London Diploma course includes financial and legal aspects of management. At Cairns, the “Business Administration” courses are more suitable for Personal Assistant positions, whilst the “Business Management” courses for middle management cover strategic, financial reporting and human resources issues. |

International E-Business
 Training combines a comprehensive grounding in general business studies with specially focused training in the new skills required to harness the unique potential of the web. Specialist subjects include marketing, E-Commerce, and Internet marketing. In addition, general business modules in Law, Economics, Accounting, Statistics, Effective Communication and Management Reporting Systems provide a thorough underpinning in business practice. The Diploma course has been designed in consultation with University of Brighton as a pathway into its undergraduate programme. |

Marketing / Public Relations
 Training covers the essential principles, skills and techniques of promotion. Areas covered include the formulation and implementation of effective marketing plans and the exploitation of PR strategies and advertising techniques. The London courses also develop your general business and communication skills, whilst the Brighton course examines the elements that go to make up the perfect “communications mix” for different situations and diverse audiences. |

Travel and Tourism
 Training in the essential knowledge and skills required for the tourism sector, including product and destination knowledge, theoretical sales concepts and practical computer skills. Precise course content varies depending on the institution and qualification concerned. The Certificate IV course in Perth includes 250 hours work experience, while the Canadian courses give participants proficiency with the Apollo and SABRE computer reservation systems and the London courses emphasise helping participants to develop a range of professional communication skills. |

Flight Attending
 Training in the essential skills required by flight attendants for both domestic and international airlines. This is New Zealand’s leading, recognised flight attendant course. Major airlines have had input into the content, making it both practical and relevant—with a Boeing 747 cabin trainer on-site and a 737 located at Auckland airport. |

Hotel Industry
 The training programme covers the specialist food and beverage sector including accommodation for hotels and resorts. Training leads to Certificate III in Hospitality (20 weeks). Students may then choose to go on to Certificate IV (40 weeks) which includes 250 hours professional work placement in the industry. |

Catering and Patisserie
 Catering
The training programme takes place in a fully operational, commercial kitchen on campus. Participants develop extensive practical food preparation, cooking and presentation skills. Areas covered include: preparing vegetables, poultry, meat, seafood, pâté etc., planning, preparing and displaying buffets, dietary and cultural needs, and food safety procedures. Participants complete 250 hours work experience during the course.
Patisserie
This specialised course is designed to provide participants with a broad range of patisserie skills and knowledge. Participants develop a range of preparation and presentation skills synonymous with the fine skills required of patissiers. The training programme takes place in a fully operational, commercial kitchen on campus. Participants also complete 250 hours work experience during the course.
