Training in the essential knowledge and skills required for the tourism sector, including product and destination knowledge, theoretical sales concepts and practical computer skills. Precise course content varies depending on the institution and qualification concerned. The Certificate IV course in Perth includes 250 hours work experience, while the Canadian courses give participants proficiency with the Apollo and SABRE computer reservation systems and the London courses emphasise helping participants to develop a range of professional communication skills.
