Accommodation 

In Lausanne, students can choose to stay with a Swiss host family or in individually rented accommodation.

Host families: There are many types of host families - from families with children to single-person households (in most cases older landladies, who like to spend some time with their guests). All host families are carefully selected and regularly inspected. When placing students, also special dietary, health or religious requirements are taken into consideration.
In the center of Lausanne, rooms are normally small but comfortably furnished. Families with children generally live in houses on the outskirts of the city (travel time to school is up to 30 mins, very good public transport system). Some families accommodate two or more students from different countries.

Many of the host families accommodating students have been working with Eurocenters for many years.
