Accommodation

We understand how important it is for students to find comfortable accommodation in a foreign country. We offer a range of accommodation options to suit all tastes, needs and budgets. Students can select from staying with an Australian host family, in guest houses/youth hostels or in their own apartments.

Host families: There are many types of host families - from families with children to single-person households (in most cases older landladies). All host families are carefully selected, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere and are regularly inspected. When placing students, also special dietary, health or religious requirements are taken into consideration to ensure that you feel secure and comfortable despite being far away from home.
Living with a host family means participating in their life and environment.
It provides students with a unique insight into the Australian way of life and provides students with an opportunity to practice their English in every-day situations.
Commuting time to the Eurocentres building is approximately 30 - 40 mins.
The stay with host families includes:
Breakfast and dinner (also lunch at the weekend), single room (double rooms are available for couples).
On the day of your arrival our staff will greet you at the airport, give you a brief orientation to your life in Sydney and take you to your Homestay.

Guesthouse/youth hostels: This type of accommodation is particularly suitable for students wishing to meet and socialize with other students and travellers from all over the world. Students can choose from a range of different room types, depending on their needs and respective availability. Facilities such as kitchens and bathrooms are generally shared, with breakfast being included.

Serviced apartments
: This option is particularly suited to families, couples or friends. The apartments are fully furnished and equipped and are serviced weekly.

Rented apartments: Once students have been in Sydney a term, they may decide to move into a rented apartment. Rents vary according to size, condition and location of the apartment. If you want to rent your own apartment in Sydney or share with others, you should start looking when you arrive. Sydney newspapers have columns of “shared accommodation” and “apartments for rent” that you can use. Rents vary depending on where the apartment is located. The average price for a 2-bedroom apartment is approximately AUD250-AUD400 per week.
